Plants are at the foundations of complex life on earth. They are key to address the emerging challenges of a changing world, including intensification of cropping systems, protection of biodiversity, and adaptation and mitigation of climate change. The mission of the Center of Plant Sciences (CPS) is to conduct advanced research approaches to enable more resilient and sustainable primary production systems, while fostering training and outreach on plant science. The CPS is contributed by a multidisciplinary group of scientists engaged in research approaches spanning from plant physiology to genetics and agroecology, with the ambition of drawing a path from the molecular scale to the landscape.
