Jump is the programme for the valorisation of patents through the funding of "proof of concept" projects, proposed by the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, the Scuola Normale Superiore and the University of Palermo. The winning projects will have to be realised within 18 months and achieve an increase in the technological maturity ("TRL" stands for "Technology Readiness Level").

Knowledge Share is an IP platform designed to facilitate the interaction between university technology transfer offices, academic researchers and industry partners. The goal is to convey patents in a clear and simple way, by highlighting the advantages that the technologies can bring to the sector of interest and to bring together companies, investors and innovators in contact with this research.

"Tuscan Start Up Academy" is a project financed by the Tuscany Region, coordinated by the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and organised by all the Tuscan universities. The aim of this project is to provide high-tech entrepreneurship training.

Projects for the strengthening and capacity building of Technology Transfer Offices (TTT) of Italian Technology Transfer Offices (TTSOs) of Italian universities, Italian public research organisations (EPR) and of the Italian Institutes for Hospitalisation and Care of a Scientific Character (IRCCS) in order to increase the intensity of technology transfer to the business system.

Joint project of the Tuscan Universities, financed by the Tuscany Region that allows the provision of 15 research grants distributed in 7 paths of higher education and research-action. The aim of the scholarships is to encourage integration between the university system and the regional production system. The Brokeinno pathway aims at technology animation, support for innovation and business scouting, partner search also at national and international level. The IP-INN pathway deals with patenting and licensing, while the Interprocess pathway deals with internationalisation and international cooperation in the field of higher education, research and technology transfer.

ARTI is the Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation in Apulia. The Agency supports the Apulian regional administration in designing and managing economic development, innovation, education, training and job policies. In particular, the intervention “Extraction of Talents” finances customised accompaniment and acceleration paths for teams of aspiring innovative entrepreneurs.

The Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna cooperate with the Politecnico di Torino on the project Esa Bic Turin (ESA Business Incubation Centre Turin). The European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre Turin supports entrepreneurs and startups in transforming their space-related projects into successful businesses. We look for entrepreneurial ventures that are developing innovative products and services in the upstream or downstream fields.
