Sant'Anna School participates in 'NexUs for Social Participation | Culture and Research: connections with innovation'. A meeting between Tuscan universities and cultural sector operators for the development of new connections and joint projects

On 21 November 2024, from 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Santa Chiara Lab of Siena will host “NexUs for Social Participation | Culture and Research: Connections with Innovation” the event co-organised by the Regional Technology Transfer Office and the University of Siena in collaboration with the Tuscany Region, the University of Florence, the University of Pisa, the Scuola Normale Superiore, the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca and the University for Foreigners of Siena.
The initiative represents an opportunity for the academic world and the operators of the cultural and creative sector to meet and develop new partnerships and joint projects.
The event will include presentations of projects and research activities of Tuscan universities, a round table to promote the dialogue between cultural operators and universities and the presentation of a European initiative to valorise cultural heritage.
For the Sant’Anna School, Gaia Sasso, of the Institute of Mechanical Intelligence, will present the results of the European Project “eCHOIng - Recovery of cultural heritage through higher education-driven open innovation”, which was funded under the Erasmus+ Program, and involved the Sant’Anna School, the Norwegian University of Sciences and Technology (Norway), the University of Sofia (Bulgaria), University of Tartu (Estonia) and OSYGY & Web2Learn (Greece).
In addition, the event offers the opportunity to register on the Tuscan Innovation Community Match 2024 platform, to connect the world of research, cultural institutions and enterprises.
