THE, ranking by Subject 2025 released: Sant'Anna School is in the Italian Top5 for six sectors. Rector Sabina Nuti: ‘’Pleased with the results, ready to fulfil our institutional role and face the new challenges of a global scenario‘’

The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies is confirmed among the best universities also in the new ranking by Subject, released by THE, Times Higher Education, the World University Rankings by Subject 2025. In detail, the Sant'Anna School is among the Top5 in Italy for the following six sectors: Business and Economics third in Italy with equal merit (between 151 and 175 in the world); Computer Science fifth in Italy with equal merit (between 201 and 250 in the world); Engineering fifth in Italy with equal merit (between 251 and 300 in the world); Law fifth in Italy (between 176 and 200 in the world); Life Sciences third in Italy with equal merit (between 251 and 300 in the world), Social Sciences fifth in Italy (between 301 and 400 in the world).
‘At the end of my term, I am pleased,’ remarks the Rector of the Sant'Anna School, Sabina Nuti, ‘with the results achieved in these rankings, which are useful insofar as they help us reflect on the goals for improvement and the actions to be taken to achieve them. From these results we receive an indication that the path we have taken has been correct, even though much can be done to consolidate our global reputation, an indicator underlying this ranking. Young universities, such as the Sant'Anna School, are the ones that have to face a more challenging path from this point of view’.
