Bio

Luca Arleo is a PhD student in the Soft Mechatronics for Biorobotics Lab at The BioRobotics Institute. He received the MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering (cum laude) from Polytechnic of Bari in 2020, with a master thesis on Additive Manufacturing of a soft robotic manipulator.

Research

He currently works on different research projects focused on enabling variable stiffness technologies for soft robotics, ranging from wearable to assistive and medical applications.
