Basic income and labour policies
Basic income has been a redistributive policy that has been a measure to counter and lift people out of poverty. The measure was essential in the pandemic phase. In 2023, the measure was modified, reducing its duration, amount and restricting its eligibility criteria.
What were the effects produced by the basic income? What does the change in the measure entail? Beyond citizenship income, what labour policies are needed in the Italy of low quality and underpaid employment?
